Daham Sevana Human Potential Foundation is a charitable organization founded
and managed by Buddhist monk, Rev. Sujatha Peradeniye. The purpose of the
foundation is to identify and support economically disadvantaged children
in Sri Lanka. Many very bright, talented
children are required to stop their education due to economic problems of
their families. These same children often do not receive adequate nutrition
and health care.
At
the foundation, our goal is to identify such children and to assure that
they receive adequate educational, medical, nutritional, and social opportunities.
We do this through providing good food, academic scholarships, access
to medical services, and social support groups.
